Step Two: Identify that Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, is your Savior

Recognizing that you are a sinner before a Holy and Righteous God, and if something isn’t done you will face eternal judgment. Therefore, you are desperately in need of a savior to escape this pending judgment. God has provided the means for you to escape, which was by the death and resurrection of His only begotten Son, Jesus the Christ. It is through Jesus’ death and his shed blood that we can receive forgiveness of our sins, and through His resurrection we obtain eternal life. (We have a true need of a savior)
